About BDC
About the Broward Data Collaborative
The Broward Data Collaborative (BDC) was established on December 14, 2017 to maximize the effectiveness of Broward’s Integrated Data System (IDS). The goals of the BDC are to improve Broward County’s human services system and its outcomes by:
- Effectively measuring and contracting long-term, cross-system, and two-generational system outcomes;
- Applying a racial equity lens to enhance outcome oriented contracting;
- Empowering service providers and system participants to be co-researchers in pursuit of long-term outcomes that incorporate the system involved participants’ lived experiences in system enhancements and service delivery improvements; and
- To scale our IDS enabled outcome-oriented contracting process throughout Florida.
Vision
The BDC integrates state and local data to contribute to the well-being of Broward’s children, families and communities.
Mission
Through collective action, diverse research strategies, and the use of high quality data, the BDC will generate actionable intelligence that improves quality of life outcomes and community conditions.
